Saturday Morning 9am Coffee Event on December 27th
The attendance of the 9am Saturday Morning social was enjoyed when Chief Denis served White House Coffee Cake. It was delicious as usual. There were a tray of cookies also.
During the pleasant and fun conversations there was the mention of cinnamon rolls. Who knows this coming Saturday we may have special cinnamon goodies. No promises but I can declare whatever the Chef makes, it will be delicious!!
The cost will be $1.00 and if the attendance is low, there will be leftovers to take home. Join us next Saturday morning, I can’t eat it all!

The Banks have informed us that any checks written to the Park for payment must be written Payable to: SKP or SKP Park of Oregon.
The banks will not accept checks written to “Timber Valley”. Our registered name is SKP Park of Oregon. So, be prepared to initial any crossed off or re-written checks when you visit the Office. We know that old habits are hard to break … Please be patient with us … this is new for us too.

Our park members are generous in supporting our community. Please come join us as we party, collect food and money to help the depleted supplies of the food bank.
New Years Day and Activities:
NOON: Lunch of black eyes peas; greens; roast pork and corn bread. Chef Denis will explain the background of these traditional foods. $7.00 donations requested. Please bring your table service and a dessert or finger food to share.
AFTER LUNCH: A new game we’re calling football throw, 50/50 drawing and football word games.
2:00: Rose Bowl on the big screen TV. You are welcome to stay and watch other games after the Rose Bowl.
Collection boxes are in the big room, the mail room and office. Checks can be written to the The Sutherlin-Oakland Food Bank then given to Joy on lot 65 or the office will place them in my mail box.
The first year we collected 625 pounds of food and raised $1,337.38. The second year we collected 890 pounds of food and raised $2,159.00.
