I talked with Gene Monday afternoon when I heard he was ill. Thankfully he was with the wonderful people at Hospice. Gene was a great friend and he embodied what Skips are all about. He was always willing to jump in and help out in any way he could. We will all miss him.
We are saddened to hear this devastating news. I spoke with Jane while checking
Layton into emergency the other day and she said he was doing ok. I’m totally shocked.
He will be sorely missed.
So sorry to hear of Gene’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Gene Fisher was our Park’s leader when it came to emergency management and crises management; but he was always willing to seek and listen to others’ advice and suggestions. He was slow to criticize, but always willing to offer advice, when there was any dissent or controversy. He was a terrific co-chair of our Park’s Bylaws Committee and I will miss his leadership and good will very much.
I am praying for him and for Jane and his other family members. Please let me know of anything I can do to help the family.
Gene’s passing is a sad, sad event for Timber Valley.
He was generous without expecting anything in return.
God’s speed Gene, you will be missed.
