Hi everyone. It has been brought to my attention that people are using the kitchen but not cleaning up. If you use anything in the kitchen, please be sure to clean up after yourself. This includes wiping out microwave, washing AND putting dishes, utensils etc. and cookware away.
Please everyone, let’s do our part in keeping our park clean. Thank you.
After spending a few months in California, we returned to our Lot#115 at the end of April. We were surprised and delighted to find that the St. Johns Wart had been plowed up and removed at long last. Unfortunately at the same time we were shocked and disheartened to find that the 30 year old Wisteria Tree near our lot had been butchered and cut down as well. Most paramount is that this was done while we were away and having no warning or any knowledge of this to be done.
Jayne (original lease holder), was most proud of this Wisteria, showing it to us when we were here in 2012. Jayne stated that it was planted “to cover the smell of sewage from the pipe”. Jayne was not the only one fond of the wisteria, living here since 2014, countless amount of people have stopped by to take pictures and delight in its beauty.
After planting, it takes a Wisteria Tree 3-5 years to flower. It takes 15-20 years to reach full maturity, and the life span of a Wisteria Tree is 50 years or more.
Wisteria attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies, and contributes to our healthy ecosystem, it creates a beautiful display and brought enormous charm to our corner lot.
As well, it served a purpose for any Lease Holder on Lot #115 with regard to the sewage smell that comes from the top of the Sewage Pipe.
Cutting the Wisteria Tree lacked preservation of the Park’s long ago Landscape.
