As a reminder, there is an open board meeting this Thursday, January 7, at 9:00am. This meeting will be “virtual”, that is, we will NOT be meeting at the clubhouse and will instead be meeting virtually by Zoom. The log-in information for this meeting is on the member’s only page of the website, where you can also find a link to the agenda for this meeting as well as instructions for how to listen-in and contribute by regular telephone.

I respectfully submit that:
1. This is inadequate notice for a regular Board meeting.
2. Our Bylaws do not authorize ZOOM style Board meetings.
3. Although I have downloaded the instructions for ZOOM meetings and will attempt to participate, but am concerned that many of our leaseholders are not equipped to do so, thereby the Board is not meeting our Bylaw requirements regarding open Board meetings.
4. There are not minutes from recent Board meetings posted on the website, including prior ZOOM meetings, so adequate preparation is not feasible.
5. The proposed Bylaw changes have not been adequately reviewed by the Bylaws Committee, due to Covid-19 related restrictions on meetings, so no affirmative action on them should be taken by the Board at this time.

This concerns me because many of us count on reading minutes and agendas on the website to remain engaged in park activities while our physical limitations are restrained due to health concerns.
