Debbie Hamilton is an employee of the Sutherlin City Office for 20 years. She authored “The Bulletin” as one of her monthly duties. She retired last year and then during her early retirement was convinced to run for the City Council. She won!! Currently, as a councilor, she also is president of Music Off Central.
Music Off Central is a collection of locally and nationally known musical groups that entertain us during the summer. A lot of work goes into the scheduling of these musical events, and Debbie will tell us how she makes this happen.
Last year the massive blue Central Park Entertainment Center was erected and will be used by five music groups and one concert. The bands include; July 13th Petty Fever (a tribute to Tom Petty), July 20th Heart of Rock & Roll (Huey Lewis & The News Tribute Band), July 27th Diamond Rio, August 3 Motel Kalifornia, and August 17th Justin Shandor (World’s Leading Elvis Impersonator).
At the Throwdown, a concert by Country Singer Jessie Leigh, will close Saturday, July 15th activities.
Bring a snack to share and enjoy each other’s and some wine if you choose.
