ocial Hour on Friday, April 7th at 3pm will feature Robert McKim, the new VP Manager of the Umpqua Bank.
Mr. McKim is a newcomer to Sutherlin and has said he is interested in learning about our park. I took him at his word and scheduled him to see our Park at Social Hour, and said that we may have questions regarding Umpqua and the banking business in general.
Why do big banks fail? Why did Umpqua just merge with another bank? Why has Umpqua had a large staff turnover in recent years? Is our money safe? Should we have questions about our banking activity, what are our prerogatives?
