Penelope is on the mend from the head injury she sustained in her RV several weeks ago, thanks to an excellent surgical team at Sacred Heart River Bend Hospital in Springfield She is being discharged from the Sacred Heart Rehab facility in Eugene on July 16 and will be continuing rehab in Washington State while residing with her daughter, Kristen Bruhahn. Get well cards or letters can be sent to Penelope at 15119 S.E. 308TH Street, Kent, WA 98042. Penelope is looking forward to returning to Timber Valley and is very appreciative of the efforts of Helaine Hepworth and others watering her plants and taking care of her property on a daily basis. Aren’t we all lucky to be in a place where caring and sharing matter?
