I’m thinking about hosting a Chromebook Group for our Timber Valley Community. Similar to the Windows Group or the Apple Group, those of us currently using Chromebooks (or perhaps just interested or curious) may want a regular get-together for the purpose of learning from each other. If you have any interest in joining, please post a comment below so I can get a feel for the level of interest.
What is a Chromebook? In the realm of personal computers, a Chromebook is an inexpensive and simple device that is powerful enough for most people’s computing needs. If you have a Google gmail address and you spend much of your computer time on the internet, you may be a perfect candidate for a Chromebook. Let me know in the comments below if you’d be interested in learning more.
If you’re tired of your slow old heavy computer, short or non-existent battery life, complicated updates and version changes, managing virus scanning software… (is that what’s bothering you Bunkie?) — you might find relief in the Chromebook Group. We believe computers should be a reliable household appliance… more like your toaster. Put in a piece of bread, push it down, and before you know it you’ve got toast. It just works! Every time, without fail. That’s what Chromebooks are. Ready to join us? Post a comment and let me know.
