On Friday, April 13, at 3 p.m., guest speaker Sutherlin School Board member JR Guthrie will talk about the impact of the local school bond measure will have on the community (that’s us). The issue is on the May Ballot.
According to School District material: “A bond measure is needed to address the district’s facilities needs as the total amount of work needed far exceed the district’s ability to pay from the general fund.” If passed, the measure will increase property taxes. Read over the following material provided by the School District and come with questions.
Also bring potluck snacks to share with your neighbors.
