‘How-to-make Felted Soap’ with Valerie Knowles

Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1 p.m. Clubhouse

Felted soap is soap that is wrapped in felted wool, eliminating the need for a separate washcloth. The wool gently exfoliates your skin. The wool covering around the soap helps prolong the life of the bar of soap. The soap is also a lot easier to hold onto than a slippery bar of soap.

“Wool generally has natural antiseptic properties, so felted soap usually remains clean if it is allowed to dry properly after each use. The layer of felting over the soap can usually be reused, and many fans of felted soap simply cut open the empty felt bag after the soap is gone, and put in another bar of soap.”

Valerie will provide all the materials needed for this class on felting soap for $4.  Sign-up sheet in the Clubhouse. Limit 12
