In addition to all the regular happenings in the Timber Valley RV Park, here are a few special activities for your consideration. All members and renters are welcome, and encouraged, to attend.
“So Long Snowbirds … Going Away Party ,” Friday, Oct. 6, 3 p.m., Clubhouse – Members/guests were asked to bring potluck hearty hors d’oeuvres to share with friends and neighbors. About 60 folks attended. Fred Prout (#44) was M.C.
Autumn Seminar # 3 – “Healthy Blue Zones” with Sharon Elliott, (#36), Friday, Oct. 13, 3 p.m.
Sharon talked about the nine common practices that improve health and add to longevity — about 35 members/guest attended.
Autumn Seminar # 4 – “Beananza – 3 Vegan Bean-based Recipes” with Cathy Deyo, Sat., Oct. 21, 1-3 p.m. Limit 8. Sign-up sheet in Clubhouse. $4 donation to cover cost of ingredients.
In this “hands-on” workshop Cathy (a vegan for more than four years) and attendees will make and taste three recipes — Thai Bean Burgers, 3 Sisters Stew, and Black Bean Brownies.
Chapter 9 Day Trip – Sat. Oct. 28, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Big K Ranch, Elkton, (lunch: 11:30 a.m.) Sign-up sheet in Clubhouse.

Halloween Party – Tues., Oct. 31, 4 p.m. – $5 donation. Please sign up by Sun., Oct. 29, for the dinner in the Clubhouse.
There will be a costume contest, Pumpkin Carvings and a number of games. The dinner is being coordinated by Timber Valley Cooking Group – Terry Hilty, chair.
